We are excited to share progress on the Social Housing PPP Programme – Planning has now been granted for 700 new homes across the sites in Bundle 4 of the Programme.

COADY Architects leads the architectural design and technical advisory service to the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA), supported by Sean Harrington Architects and MCORM Architects across the various sites which include Oldtown Mill and Coolaghknock Glebe in County Kildare; Church of Annunciation Finglas, Wellmount Road Finglas, Croke Villas, Collins Avenue and Stanley Street in Dublin City.

Key Projects in Bundle 4

COADY Architects has taken the lead design role on two significant sites within Bundle 4:

1. Collins Avenue Site: This project involves the transformation of the former Bring Centre depot site on Collins Avenue into 106 apartments, arranged in three blocks ranging from three to six storeys. The design includes private courtyard gardens for residents, a new public park, and a play area. Ground-level community spaces provide flexible areas for residents and the wider community, opening directly to the central amenity space.
2. Croke Villas: This project focuses on the regeneration of a former Corporation flats site to provide 52 new apartments in two blocks ranging from four to five storeys, and 14 houses. The development frames a new high-quality landscaped approach to the National Handball Centre and Croke Park.

This announcement is part of the broader Social Housing PPP Programme, which aims to deliver high-quality social housing across Ireland. The Programme has already seen significant success, with previous bundles delivering hundreds of new homes.
