Located just inside the Brookfield/South Circular Road entrance, immediately west of the National Children’s Hospital, this 52-bed facility is now ready to serve as a vital sanctuary for families of children receiving long-term critical care.

Realised through a successful partnership between Clancy Construction and COADY Architects, the project was designed with a single goal: to provide a “home away from home.” The house offers families high-quality private and communal spaces, including:

• Dedicated Bedrooms & En-Suites: 52 bedrooms designed for rest and privacy.
• Fully Equipped Kitchens: Spaces for families to prepare their own meals.
• Living & Dining Areas: Comforting environments to eat and connect.
• Laundry & Cleaning Facilities: Essential amenities to maintain a sense of normality.

Given the constraints of a busy city-center site, the project team utilised Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). This innovative approach was instrumental in ensuring the project met its delivery milestones, allowing us to hand over the project on schedule.

By providing these essential facilities, the Ronald McDonald House ensures that parents can remain close to their children for as long as necessary, easing the burden during the most challenging of times.
