Project Overview

The design process was shaped through close collaboration with the clinical and care teams, whose invaluable insights helped inform every aspect of the facility, from patient experience and operational efficiency to staff wellbeing and future flexibility.

Particular emphasis was placed on creating a calm, therapeutic setting that connects the building with its landscape, maximising access to natural light, views and outdoor spaces.

The result is a carefully considered environment that supports dignity, comfort and quality of life while providing an exceptional setting for care delivery.

Recently granted planning permission, the project represents a significant milestone in the delivery of enhanced specialist palliative care services for the Midlands region and is a development that the entire design team is honoured to have contributed to.
