Project Overview

The project consists of the redesign and reorientation of the upper block of playing pitches. The proposed works are designed to reduce the cross fall on the pitches along with optimising the dimensions of the playing pitches and to increase their functionality and longevity whilst maintaining established stands of trees. The proposed works include a new drainage layout and irrigation fed by an existing water well on site.

The changes in levels will be negotiated using a sloped grass embankment running from east to west, which will contain swales, bio-diversity planting and a stepped access route. Access to the grass pitches will be at existing access points to the pitches, minimising any disruption to the existing campus flows.
