Project Overview
The development forms part of wider masterplan of South Dublin County Council lands that includes a new urban square, innovation hub and school.
The development will consist of the construction of 133 affordable rental apartments with a community facility (c 12,918m2 ) in three blocks ranging from three to eight storeys.
A central podium accommodates car and bicycle parking, an ESB substation and switch room, plant and bins stores on grade with a high quality landscaped communal courtyard above.
The project is connected to the Tallaght District Heating Scheme where exhaust heat from a data centre will provide heating and hot water for residents. Ancillary site development works include the provision of final section of the Tallaght Zip / Greenway.
The scheme delivers highly sustainable homes in an efficient and vibrant architectural response to contribute to the rejuvenation of the wider area.
